Fort Wayne, Indiana: Two experienced partners, Holly Clabaugh and Adriene Troxel-Horn, both previous marketing employees from NESCO Specialty Rentals, have joined together to launch a marketing agency that specializes in trade show design, event planning, and marketing services for clients within the utility industry space. With over 15 years of combined utility and marketing industry experience, the partners launched The Trade Creative Co., Inc. (Trade) in November of 2017. Trade specializes in offering industry specific marketing solutions for rental companies and equipment manufacturers within the utility and work truck industries.
Creative Partner, Holly Clabaugh, left her position as Marketing Manager of NESCO Specialty Rentals in March of 2018 to pursue this new venture full-time. In her five years working at NESCO, Holly gained key industry knowledge, while realizing firsthand the need for experienced outside agency support when working with the limited resources of a small in-house team – specifically related to corporate gifting, and large equipment tradeshows like the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition, NTEA, and ConExpo.
Operations Partner, Adriene Troxel-Horn, comes from a long line of rental and equipment entrepreneurs. In addition to her role at Trade, Adriene has co-owned and operated a nationwide commercial truck rental company, Premier Truck Rental, with her father, Rob Troxel, for the last four years. Prior to that she worked in Marketing and Business Development for Nesco Specialty Rentals.
Creative Partner Holly Clabaugh comments: “We have a small team at Trade, but that’s intentional. It keeps us nimble so we can thoroughly take care of our clients, and pivot quickly as needed. We purposefully only work on 5-10 clients at a time, and each client is assured the attention they need. When we onboard with a client, we don’t waste weeks getting up to speed and learning their business. We’re ahead of the game because we’re already familiar with their product lines and target markets. It’s a tight-knit industry we know and love”.
